MY MICROWAVE IS NOT HEATING

If the microwave is turned on and you can hear the fan working when you set the time you should make sure of those things:1. You have selected the proper programme. Some microwaves have a control desiged to use the programs on the buttons. if you want to you the buttons to set time you should select "microwave" or a similar button and then press the power level like "1", "2" or "80", "100" (being percentage) and then press the buttons for timing.2. If you have used it for a while and it suddenly stopped heating the food, than it could be that your magnetron (a spare part) has burned out. Have a specialist replace it, or just get a new microwave, the price difference won't be that great for standard issue microwaves.
