Flustered, first thing I would check is the power. If you are using a 4 wire 240V, part of the copper ground strap just below the terminal block should be removed. You would have black on the left, white in the middle, red to the right and ground to the ground screw just below. 120V from left to center, 120V from right to center and 240V across the outside terminals. If you have it wired right check for voltage at the spark module, should have 120V at terminals L&N. If you have that voltage there and still no spark with your burner caps on (this is the ground for the spark) you more than likley have a bad spark module. Call for factory service since this is new. Catriver..post back.

Control knob doesnt adjust flame height?

Use a manometer to insure lp gas pressure is correct. The regulator for the stove may need adjusting. The air mixture adjustment may not be correct for PL as well.

Flame too high on gallery gas stove

Hello Carlos - Does you range have an LP conversion kit installed? If so, I would recommend verifying that unit is set to appropriate fuel and fuel conversion kit is finished. Also trying adjusting the pressure regulator and/or air shutter.

I will soon need to convert a 1993(?) CALORIC Kitchen Range back to Natural Gas from LP. When I installed it, NG was not available, so the propane company guys converted it to LP. I was not here to learn...

First check the regulator valve on the back of the stove. Chances are it is a dual purpose valve and once you are ready to do the converstion.. you simply will move the lever or change the setting from LP to NAT.(obvisouly before proceeding you need to have the fuel supply turned off to the appliance)

Next check under the range lid or on the back of the stove for the spare NATural gas orifices.. when they changed it out for you there were two scenarios.. the range (most do) came with a set of LP orifices..and they simply changed these out on each burner supply including brolier/oven. (orifices are interchangeable nozzles that are threaded into the supply gas burner)

If they had to swap out the regulator chances are they would have given you the one that came with your stove.. However I am fairly sure the regulator is a dual purpose and you simply need to change the setting from LP to NAT.

DO NOT DO THIS WITHOUT CHANGING OUT THE ORIFICES FIRST.

If you cannot locate the spare orifices/spud/nozzles (they are called all of these) on the stove itself you will need to buy a set. A good appliance parts store will be able to help you with these.. again.. you will need one for each burner/burner supply.

If you can locate the range manual it will have instructions on how to do this.

Chances are your Natural Gas company will be able to help you with this.. especially if the regulator is dual purpose.. even if you can't find the orifices they are inexpensive.. fairly standard and easy to acquire. Usually just called a "conversion kit".. it will just consist of four or five small threaded 5/16 brass nozzles/orifices.
The installation is pretty straightforward. Again..a good appliance parts store may recommend a service company...and if your not familiar with diy repairs on a gas appliance.. a 50 to 100 dollar service call is well worth the money.

Best of luck to you!

Need instructions and part # for lp conversion kit on MGR5765QDS

Your conversion jets are usually located beneath the hinge area or the back panel on that stove and are mounted on a plate which holds all of the LP jets in a row. there is no need to buy a conversion kit, since it is already supplied. The jets mount on the burner control itself as it enters the gas flow tube, and the oven jet mounts just before the large burner under the plate in your oven area. Just remove that large oven floor plate and you will see it.

Changed from natural gas to propane when new oven flames up the side top burners ok

Just bought a Kenmore and did this conversion myself. You do not change the oven nozzle (jets) but have to wrench it down with a 1/2" wrench as per instructions. After I did this the falme was high as you described. I wrenched it down further and adjusted the air shuttle and it was fine. The brioler is done the same. The wrench adjustment is tight so be aware.
