I had a little knock in my engine, I did some research online an They suggested to put fuel injecter cleaner an fill the tank should take care of it, well after I added the cleaner it started to knock...
Lets get your thinking cap on
In reality, would any product in a 16 oz container, put into
a 16 or 18 gallon fuel tank ,do anything? Answer NO
Those products will not help the root cause of your problem,
but they do take millions or billions of dollars a year from people
People who suggest any additive ,don't likely know how
to diagnose or work on any car, lawn mower or much of anything
Your car is in bad enough shape with it's current problem, that is
beyond an internet guess & only testing by a repair shop, will
be able to get some idea what is taking place.
Knowledge,Experience,Reference Materials,Tools,Test Equip,
etc,are the only thing that will ever repair any product.
When you go to a web site you need to provide the Make,Model,
Engine or Engine Code, and a lot of technical info,as well as road test
results & such & if you have no idea what your even asking, just
find a 3rd generation repair shop with a good reputatiion
I personally think if your working on your own vehicles,
every one doing so, should say so.
We try & give advice to people & 99% of them, have never
even opened a hood or put fuel in any vehicle in 20 years
