Question about Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-32FV300 32" TV

1 Answer

Controls Hello, I am not able to turn on my Wega from my remote control. When I turn on the tv from the unit itself, the tv turns on but none of the other controls (menu, input, channel) work either. In fact, when I attempt to press any of the tv's controls, it immediately increases the volume all the way up. When I attempt to turn it down and take my finger off the volume control, the volume goes right back up to full volume. Any ideas on what the problem is or how I can fix it. Thanks ED

Our Tv's volume is stuck at high and the other controls don't work.  If I attempt to turn it down, ti goes right back up.

Front panel controls are unresponsive

Check volume up switch in front panel locked continuously. If it is not take away the remote control from the TV or remove the battery in the remote. Because maybe the remote continuously sending volume up commands. Rarely this type problem occurs through remote control also. Even problem is not sorted there is problem in EEPROM ic (memory ic). This can be sorted out by the technical persons only. I hope this useful to you.
