Are you sure that this is the correct model number? I don't see it on Cobra's web site. Some retailers request that Cobra brand their products with different model numbers in order to avoid having to honor any "lowest price" guarantees. Check Cobra's web site and see if your Cobra RD model looks identical to one of the other models shown on their web site. Alternatively, call Cobra and ask them for a link to an online PDF of the user manual or for a replacement manual.

We have a similar problem which was from a bad coed to receiver connection.
Try holding the point to where you hear the 'tick' and wait for the connection.

your power cable has a short in it. replace it.
