SOURCE: No sound from the TV when the headphones are plugged in.

if you have a stereo unit(am+fm reciever) that has output to speakers, connect the out jack of the tv to input on back of stereo unit(aux in or cd input) then you can have output to headphone and speakers also.

SOURCE: RCA wireless headphones

Hey, my rca whp141 is incredibly quiet. Go ahead and turn the volume up on the TV.
If that doesn't work make sure

  • The headphones and headset are on the same channel (like 1).
  • the transmitter is on and working (Power: GREEN LIGHT)
  • the headset is on and working (GREEN LIGHT)
  • the headset is receiving a signal (St: GREEN LIGHT).
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Headphones: only left speaker works

yes if you have a multimiter and a soler iron, just check the cable where is moving allot, for example for the headphones near the volume controler, near connector or near you eyers is more likely to brake

Testimonial: "Yes, but it is probably brike between the left and the right speaker, is there any way to get to the cable?"

Have hearing problem, need to attach speakers to TV. We can't find a port for plug

Most TVs have a headphone socket. Some have an audio output socket and others have a scart socket but I haven't seen a TV that has a means of attaching speakers directly.

If there is an audio output it can be connected to a hi-fi or an amplifier and speakers and similarly a scart adaptor can be used for the same purpose.

Probably the best and easiest way is to use the headphone socket and plug in a pair of powered computer speakers

Thomson wireless Headphones. The red input/power light is not indicating on the base unit where you lodge the headphones. The green charging light is lit up. How can I resolve.

Murdo's tip to trim off the cover of the AA battery base to expose a few mm of metal is spot on. Replacement rechargeable batteries for my Thomson wireless headphones did not charge, no green light, utterly frustrating, till I read Murdho's suggestion. Thanks for that

I have a THS220 box and have difficulty recording programmes

Hello Joan,

To record a satellite you will need two scart leads.

Plug one end of the first scart lead into the "DVD/VCR SCART" socket on the back of the satellite receiver, then plug the other end into the "INPUT" scart on the back of the VCR. Take one end of the second scart lead and plug it into the "OUTPUT" socket on the back of the VCR and plug the other end into "SCART IN" socket on the back of the TV.

To record, select the satellite channel you want to record, then, on the VCR, select scart input, (at this point, you can record a satellite program). To watch a satellite channel or recorded satellite channel, select the scart input on the TV.

If you need anymore information, then let me know.

Kind regards,

Ron.

I HAVE AN OLD THOMSON SKY BOX(NON HD) CONNECTED TO A SONY BRAVIA 32BX320. THERE IS A POOR RECEPTION ON SKY CHANNELS PARTICULARLY NOTICEABLE ON SKY SPORTS FOOTBALL WHERE IMAGES ARE "DRAGGING", "DELAYED

First step...clean out the "old" guy with clean, dry, compressed air to get dust off the capacitors and resistors. The frequencies that the "box" selects are regulated by those components. If this doesn't work you should realize that the electrical values of those components change as they age...and like grandma, can't do the tricks they used to.

I need to connect a surround sytem to my tv but cannot find an audio out on it

Depending on the TV you have and the surround sound system you can use the following:
An optical out cable.
Headphone jack to headphone jack (a cable with a 2.5mm headphone jack on both ends) you then plug this into the headphone jack in the TV and the other end into the audio in jack in your surround sound system.
You can also use a standard scart lead to plug into your TV and surround sound system.

I bought my husband some wireless headphones. The

All you have is to connect the 3 wires from the cable that is for going to the phones jack, at the pins 1,3,4 of the scart a/v of the tv. Mention that the shield of the cable (the one is going at the big outer metal of the phones plug) must connect at the pin 4.Here is a pinout of the a/v pins

I suppose that a euro a/v (or scart a/v) to RCA or mini jack adaptor is posible to be found at your market so you don't have to make one by yourself.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post.

Thanks and regards

They Won't Work

You need to tune the headphones with the dial on the right ear phone as well as change channels on the base until you get good reception.
Hope that was all and it isn't anything worse. Good luck!
