I recently began having a problem with my NAD T763 receiver. I get no sound out of the powered subwoofers in my speakers (Polk LSi25's) when the receiver is in EXT 7.1 surround mode. When I listen to music in 2 channel mode of watch cable TV in satellite mode, the subwoofers sound loud and clear. In addition, the subwoofer test signal was fine when I checked it, as was the signals out of the 5 other speakers. But when I try to listen to a SACD, DVD-Audio or, when I try to watch a movie, no sound comes out of the subwoofers while the receiver is in surround (EXT 7.1) mode. There is no sound at all. I have gone through the setup completely in the receiver. The subwoofer setting is set to "on" and the subwoofer level is up at a listenable volume in the "channel setting" screen. Please help!
SOURCE: No signal from sub connected to NAD T760 in test mode.
Try using front pre out to the sub from the receiver. the crossover is in the sub anyway. If this works change your settings on the receiver and test again. If sub is still inop, could be an internal issue with the sub amp. Does your sub amp have an on/auto/off switch or light? check that as well. Hope this helps, if you need further assistance, send a reply and I'll help some more

Have you tried doing a factory reset?
1. With unit powered ON, press the VIDEO and TONE DEFEAT buttons.
2. Display will show "AH RESET DONE".
3. Power off (from rear panel switch) and back on.
