Hi,
my E176FP won't give me a display. When plugged in, the power light blinks green but nothing comes up on the screen. It will keep blinking for as long as it's plugged in, and it doesn't matter if it's connected to the tower or not. Also, I can't turn the monitor completely off, it will keep blinking the green power light until I disconnect it.
Yeah, I called Dell yesterday, and they said it was a problem that I could not fix myself. Whether that's true or not, I don't know, but my monitor was still under warranty, so they shipped me a replacement right away. I already got it this morning.
FYI: Their monitors carry a three year warranty.
This seems to be an issue with the monitor and cannot be fixed.
Please give me the 20 Digit code at the back of the Monitor, I'll check if Monitor is still covered under warranty???

I just had the same thing happen:
I have the monitor set up on a switch, connected to two computers. One is the server, and one is our boss's work computer. I logged into the computer fine, did some trivial work-related things, and then tried to switch to the server to check logs. Once I entered the key combination that switches monitor input, the power light on the monitor started blinking and making a quiet noise every time the light flashed.
I will investigate further, and post any additional information I find.
I checked, as I didn't buy the monitor separately (It came with my computer) I don't think it has the three year warranty, my comp only came with two years and they've already expired. Does anyone know if the monitor has a separate warranty? I'll post my serial code: CN-0NJ174-73731-6B6-2378. I can't quite tell if that 0 after the first dash is a zero or an o.
