Sony Trinitron KV-27FS13

I'm not getting a picture or sound from my telelvision. The red light on the front of the television keeps flashing off and on. I have the manual and followed the instruction of disconnecting everything and reconnecting, but still television will not come on. The television is only four years old.

I have the same problem. The tv suddenly went off and the red light keeps blinking. Tried turning the main power off couple of times but still has the same problem. When I turned it back on, it will give some clicking sound from the inside and the will shut off again.

Set in shut down. Hasve power supply problem. Need a TECH.

My Sony trinitron has the stero lite on steady and standby lite flashes four times then pauses and repeats. Can you tell me the circuit/condition causing the set to not turn on.

your tv had a problem.if you have a knowledge in electronics, check or replace the horizontal transistor beside the plyback. it is a black square parts with 3 pins.
