My problem is similar...I am currently using a monitor that is black on the left 1/3rd of the screen with a red line running from top to bottom in the middle of the black area, and the rest of the screen display is moved toward the right. I cannot see what it on the far right of the screen, or at the very bottom of the screen.

I think that you need to reinstall or find a new driver for it.

The eMachines W3503 uses an Intel D101GGC motherboard.

Amber colored power light on eMachine W3503

The amber power light indicates that your computer has been "sleeping" or "hibernating" and usually all it takes to restart the computer is tapping a key on the keyboard. If this is not the case, try holding the Power switch down for 6-10 seconds to force the system off. Restart in Safe Mode and try to find the settings for Sleep/hibernate, open the control panel and open the Screen Saver. Select "Change Power Settings" and set it for "Never" on sleep and hybernate.

Monitor blinks no image

first you need to isolate the problem to either the computer or the moniter. I would sugust that you hook a know good moniter to the compter and go from there. If the other moniter works then you have a moniter issue aif not chek the video card in the computer. good luck

Blue tinted monitor screen

black and white tracking can vary in color depending on which color that the dispay is not getting enough of or to much of. In the case of it changing when you walk
in to the room, sugust that there is probably a loose connection or poor solder joint on the curicut board of the moniter. I don't suggust that you get inside the moniter and try to fix this due to dagerous voltage potential with in the moniter. Good luck
