I have 2 problems but the main one is that everytime a click a picture, the camera cuts off. I have changed the batteries, cleaned the battery contacts and it still happens. The second problem says card is not initialized. I have formated the xd picture card in the camera, cleaned the card. The main problem is the camera cutting off when I snap a picture. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi, try to format your SD Card on your camera (backup pictures first). If you can't then try to format on your PC. To format on your pC do the following steps: 1) insert your SD card 2) right click the SD Card Drive (make sure you select the correct one) choosing the wrong drive would cause BIG problems for you. If you don't know which drive it is Do Not Continue 3) Select Format.
If you PC doesn't format properly or has a problem with the card then you know the problem is the card and not your camera. Make sure also that the SD Card is not Locked.
The probleme: The Shuteer Has A cable Connected to Recorder Maybe The cable Has Cutted when you Shut ,or Maybe Cutted When You Charged The Battery cause When your put your camera on the charge , the cable goes be hot and it should be cutted .
