When a super NVRAM init is performed, the all-in-one language and telecom country/region settings
are undefined. The user is prompted to set the language and telecom country/region. Until these settings
are defined, the all-in-one will not return to the Ready state.
CAUTION A Super NVRAM init erases all data that is stored in both the unprotected and
protected NVRAM memory.
To perform a super NVRAM init
1.
Turn off the all-in-one.
2. Press and hold down the * and 5 buttons.
3. Continue to hold down the buttons while you turn on the all-in-one. Hold the buttons throughout
the entire power-on sequence.
4. When Permanent Storage Init. appears on the control-panel display, release the buttons.
5. When prompted, set the language and telecom country/region.
6. Allow the all-in-one to return to Ready before using it.

    03-24-2011 07:54 AM Just had the same problem. Dispaly in German after selecting English-Europe. Hp support had no answer after 25 mins on the phone. Finally solved it myself. This is for a Deskjet 3050 1) Remove power cord. 2) Press and hold together Cancel button and OK button ( OK button is the one at the very bottom). 3) Reinsert power cord to rear of printer while holding in both of these buttons for about 20-30 seconds. 4) The HP sign should come onto the dispaly. This should reset the dispaly screen back to factory settings. You will have to reconnect your wifi again. This worked for me. Good luck.

Suddenly my Facebook looks like Russian. How to get it to return to English?

you may have changed your primary language to russian.
regardless of the language used, you may still be able to find the setting to change it back, since the locations of the settings would not have changed..
if you use google chrome, you could easily ask it to translate the page automatically back to english for you.. and then navigate to My Account - Settings - Language - & choose english as your primary language.
Alternatively, this link shows how to change to dutch/german, but is included as a guide to getting to the language settings page only. http://www.itechnobuzz.com/freebies-f-secure-antivirus-2011-1-year-free-license-key
