You could have a color burst signal missing from the horizontal circuit. A color killer circuit problem or a croma processor circuit problem. If your not a tech, you should have this checked out by a pro, if you want to infest mony into a picture tube type set.

Hi, please remove the vga cable from the back of the monitor, make sure that you don't remove the power cable from the back of your monitor. If you see the power on self test or any other pattern of colors in the screen, if the screen display remains white or goes black it would mean that the monitor has gone bad.
Check settings on main screen go into menu to change settings///also you can try resetting it by unpluging for five min....replace plug ...now PUSH AND HOLD thepower button for 10 seconds
Maybe your colour setting is wrong or worse your color tube is no good. You will have to change the screen settings (color). If it wont work probably color tube is gone.
Good Luck
check the brightness and contrast from the menu on the monitor try increasing it ... the problem will get solved... if same problem persists contact ur near by experrt technician he may tell that the tube is gone he must recharge it....
