That error code indicates that the fuser unit isn't heating up. Try turning the power off, wait 30 seconds, turn the power on. If the error reappers the fuser unit should be checked by a technician to correct the problem.
SOURCE: I have a sharp copier, model AR-285, H4-01
H4 error pertains to lamp errors.
that would either be the copy lamp or the heater lamp.
check both lamps.
with heater lamps,it's usually caused by either a broken heater lamp or a dirty thermostat on the heater roller assembly.

You had 5 jams in the fuser. Clear the jams first. Make sure all sensors are clear. You may need to reset the thermoswitch on the fuser. You will need to remove the fuser to do that. Next press in sequence within 7 seconds #/P Int C Int buttons, then 14, then copy start, yes on the LCD. The copier should recycle and be up and running. Good luck.
SOURCE: IS there a reset code for a Sharp AR-507 copier,
enter simulation: pound, interrupt, clear, interrupt, then enter 14, press start, press execute on touch screen, press ca until copier restarts, this is a general clear code, if problem returns you will have a heat problem in the fuser.
