Check rival for recall information. Certain models were recalled for defective handles.

My black handle broke off, too. I went to the hobby store and got a wood ball not too big and drilled a hole in it the same diameter as the screw that held in the original handle. Voila, I now have a wood ball knob handle on my crock pot lid. You just install it and cscrew it on just like you do a new knob on a kitchen cabinet.

send me the cover of the crock pot
the handle on the cover crumbled after only a couple of use. The screw has a nut on it but the plastic on the handle is no longer useable.
I need an inner linner, where can i purchase a new one that fits my pot?
the handle on the lid melted where it attaches to the lid
Sounds like this may be a design flaw! I also have a "melted, disintergrated ". The plastic literally broke into pieces, and I have no way to attach the handle
