Problem with Belkin OmniView KVM F1DS102P

Hello, I hope someone can help me. When I switch from position 1 to position 2, I can't switch back to position 2 until I power down the PC on position 2. All the connections are correct. I've never ran into anything like this before and can't find anything about it on the Belkin website. Does anyone have any ideas?

Is the LED for position 1 and 2 always on? If the switch doesn't detect power on the PS2 keyboard connector it won't let you switch to to that position. If you are using a USB mouse with an adaptor or a wireless mouse try a conventional PS2. I have a MS wireless mouse one of my switches does not like and have to resort to that sometimes. Another issue could be excessive cable length or PS2 extension cables. Let us know if you have any more questions on this topic and please don?t forget to rate the post.

Continous beef sound and 88 show on the display code.

You need an RMA for that unit.

Contact your Tech Support, and ask them to please receive the unit for an RMA.

The Problem must be one of the internal chips and the problem can only be resolved through an RMA process.

Hello there, I have a Lite On SK-3211 1U

This product uses none-standard USB host controller and USB devices are not being enumerated properly within KVM. The company that designed this product is no longer in business.

Currently there no support for this specific keyboard/mouse on Belkin Dual User KVM over IP.

No video, but PS2 mouse + keyboard works

Try finding an adapter for it. You'll need a 12v DC 1 A adapter. I plugged one in and got video right away.
Don't be fooled that it lights up when you plug it into a server. You do need the adapter.
