Error code 10 Device cannot restart

I try to install my usr5417 at 2 computers, but I always got the same problem... Firstly, I put install cd and begin installing ... I did what it says ... (First, install .. then shutdown ... place card ... power on computer) After windows restarted firstly it found a network controller and installed it as us robotics maxg pci ... But after this it found a pci card and couldn't installed it ... On the other hand, firstly installed network controller (as us robotics maxg pci card) gave error message ... (Error code 10 Device cannot restart) I am certain that pci cards is working... I dont know what to do ... Any suggestions ???

I faced the same problem. In Windows XP it was installed successfully. In Windows 2000, I got the same error. However, I do believe that the problem is not the OS, but the PCI bus. The Windows 2000 system,is quite old, so it may be PCI 2.1 and not PCI 2.2 as required.

Generally a code 10 refers to a dead component unfortunately.Although the card will be recognised.
