You need to check to see if one of your springs might have broke or just come off that helps hold the tub

Why does it always become unbalanced in spin cycle?

how confident are you to get inside it? Check the balance springs and shock absorbers.

Normally it is two simple things.

First the machine must be level front to back and left to right. Also all 4 feet must be in equal contact with the floor.

Make sure you load the washer evenly with clothes. Mix large and small items so when the spin starts the clothes even out. Never wash just one large item that is very absorbent, like one bathrobe or one blanket..

Whirlpool cabrio W10106480A keeps giving Unbalanced Load message and tub bumps the sides very hard and loudly

follow this step and fix it. God bless you

Washing machines are complex and have many functional components. It's always best to stop an unbalanced load, rearrange it, and re-start the washer.

I have a Maytag Ensignia model MAV2757 AWW. The washer basket doesn't balance, even with a small load, and turns off due to the weight being unbalanced. The springs are there and oiled, the hardware...

Snubber ring that tub and spin basket assembly sits in is most likely worn. Very inexpensive part but extensive labor involved. I would suggest calling a competent service tech.

Inner tub does not sit corrects and water is leaking bad when run

There is 6 springs? And all of them are on right? Sounds like one of the back springs came off or broke. You should be able to shake the whole thing around and it should center up. Take the top of the washer off. Remove the cover on the control panel then unplug the wire harness and pull the fill switch hose off of the switch. There is two screws holding the top on at the side panels in the front. then lift it up and slide it forward to release the back hinges. Then you should be able to see the back ones.

MAke sure that the cothes are not unbalancing the tub. Iv seen this happen where the clothes are unbalancing the tub and it moving around and the when the water for the rinse is coming out its not getting in the tub its splashing on the top of the tub ring due the the unbalanced spin. does this happen when you wash a heavy load? do you notice it not doing that when you washer a light load?

Unbalanced load during spin cycle.

I feel you have a clutch malfunction with your FAV6800AW machine. The SM has no test that I can find just the strut removal process starting on page 43 of the SM. If your FAV6800AW is 3 to 5 yr’s old I would lean toward a Clutch malfunction causing your dc/UC errors in spin cycle. You can see this post for the details on the clutch removal process. For reference with the top raised and the front cover off I over fill the washer with about 6" of water in the tub. I press down one at a time to both the left front and right front washer tub corners and feel equal resistance to bottom out the struts (about an 1” of travel”) and they spring back to level position equally. With the tub over filled to the level I mention do you get the same results? If you do then my next step would be to drop the clutch out as in this post, clean up and re-lube the roller clutches or replace the clutch if they are rusted up or the clutch spring is broken. You can turn on the drain pump in service mode page 16 of the SM “Board Output Test - Drain Pump” to empty the tub if you do this test. Good luck and post back if you have any questions. Rich
