On my 2010 crown vic I have headlights but no tail lights. I do have brake lights and turn signals.

If your 2010 Crown Victoria has functioning headlights, brake lights, and turn signals but no tail lights, the issue could be with the tail light circuit or with a specific component in the tail light assembly.
Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  • Check the tail light fuses. Make sure that the tail light fuses are not blown. Check the vehicle's owner manual for the location of the fuses.
  • Check the tail light bulbs. Make sure that the tail light bulbs are working properly, if not replace them.
  • Check the wiring. Make sure that the wiring for the tail lights is connected properly and that there are no frayed wires or broken connections.
  • Check the brake light switch. The brake light switch is responsible for turning on the brake lights when the brake pedal is depressed. Make sure the brake light switch is working properly.
  • Check the turn signal switch. Make sure the turn signal switch is working properly, and properly wired to the tail lights.
If the problem persist after trying the above solutions, It would be best to consult a professional mechanic or an auto electrical technician to diagnose the issue, as it could be a malfunction in one of the electronic module that control the lighting. It's a good idea to take the vehicle to a dealership or repair shop that specializes in Ford vehicles. They will have access to the wiring diagrams and repair information needed to correctly diagnose and repair the issue with the tail lights.

How to replace, step by step, the rear brake light bulb on hyundai atos 1999?

How Do You Change Tail Light Bulb
Remove the wiring harness from the tail light lens assembly. Disconnect tail light bulb from the wiring harness socket. Reconnect the wiring harness to the tail light lens assembly. To confirm proper installation of the new tail light bulb, place the key in the on position.
IT IS VERY SIMPLE OR GO TO AUTOZONE AND HAVE THEM CHANGE IT OUT FOR YOU AND WATCH THEM ONCE. GOOD LUCK.

Fuse for tail lights keeps blowing

You have a serious short circuit in the wiring to the tail lights. Fuses protect the wiring in your vehicle from catching fire.
You need to trace the tail light wiring from the fuse box to the tail lights to locate the fault/short circuit.
A wiring diagram can help as it shows the colour code of the wires to the tail lights.
This problem can be difficult to trace and you most likely need an auto electrician to fix this problem. It could mean installing a new wire to the tail lights as a quicker fix and bypass the fault..

How do i remove the sensor for the rear tailgate?

1) Locate and remove sensor.
The sensor is located under the drivers tail light. Unclip it from the body and then unplug it.

2) Bypass the tail light circuit.
Connect the tail light signal wire (Green) to the tail light wire (Green w/ Red Stripe). I recommend using wire tap in squeeze connectors that way you dont have to cut any wires.

3) Bypass the brake light circuit.
Connect the brakelight signal wire (Green w/ White Stripe) to the brake light wire (Red w/ Blue stripe) and the the 3rd brake light wire (Red w/ White Stripe). Again all three of these wires are to be connected together.

4) Throw away your broken Tail Lamp Failure Sensor
Do not plug your sensor back in. Doing so will cause the annoying orange lamp failure warning light on your dash to stay on. Leave it unplugged ant the light will stay off.

5) Test your work
Turn on your lights and make sure your tail lights work properly. Have a friend step on the brake pedal, and make sure your brake lights work properly as well. Dont forget to check the Third brake light.

The tail lights and dash lights are out and everything else is working what could it be?

Your dash lights going out is an indication that your tail lights are not working. Most of the time it is just a bad tail light fuse. It could also be a bad relay( if there is a separate tail light relay) or a broken wire . If you have a shorting wire on a tail light or on the wire going to the fuse box that could be the source of the problem. If the fuse int he box is good then check the power wire going to the box.

95 k1500 tail lamps dont work. turn signal and brake lights works. fuses good, bulbs new, and tail light circuit boards new.

test the wires to see if power reaches the tail light, connect a test light to the wire and the chassis, if there is power present on the wire for the tail light the problem is the bulb or the tail light unit, but if there isnt any power you have to backtrace the wire to locate the problem, probably a broken or loose wire
