I have a Nokia E5-00 which one day out of the blue turned off. The screen went blank and does not start. On pressing the start key the phone vibrated, but nothing happened. Eventually even that stopped. I think the vibration continued till there was some power in the battery. Now the phone is dead and does not charge. Nothing happens. It does not start, PC does not detect it.
I tired help from Nokia Priority in vein. They were clueless. I have read numerous users on the forum who have the same problem.
Is this a problem with all the E5-00 models. Does Nokia take any responsibility for this.
Please advise/asnwer.
This problem occur seldom.Anyway have you tried by inserting other battery ? First of all Insert good battery (not new but you can fully charge your old battery with multi-charger) connect USB and press Power button,after just you press the POWER button a sound will hear in your PC if the set is OK.So, if you can hear the detecting sound,you yourself can solve it.Just

You mean the network lock?If so, I suggest you can approach Theunlockarena.com and specify the country,locked network of Nokia E5-00.based on the availability you can get the unlock code along with free instructions.
try looking for an FN button and an icon on your keyboard that has 2 screens on it one is blank and one has an outline in it Hold the FN button down and press that key with the icon usually the icon is blue on a keyboard and is on the F1-12 buttons or on the numberpad
go to menu then type in 1570 ok on nagravision then select what network ie
telepest then type in 00 numbers press ok to store then change 00 to 01
by pressin arrow key right next to ok button then type in 01 numbers
press ok then exit out.
this should work .
press menu.
press 1570.
Nagravision screen look down list making sure EMU set to ON. press ok ,
code screen provider ID ntel.5401. tw5A01.cw.5C01.
key No 00
key data change the codes storing each code entered. Go back to 00 and press right 01 and change these codes saving each code. Exit.

ntl codes-- 00 -3f b8 36 62 72 e5 e2 76 & 01-35 5e d6 40 6e aa 99 41 & to get setan -- press menu, go onto factory settings,press ok to delete,english language comes up, press ok & the menu comes back up, then go onto installation & make sure your on nthell, then press auto scan & wait for saving, press ok, then press menu again & 1570 to get up nagravision, then check that your emu is on ( it will probably be off !! ). then check your channels & setanta 1,2,golf & news should be there !! hope this helps
