I can't find the correct filter for my Kenmore coffee maker DCC-Ke12

Start up your coffee pot and add vinegar in the water. It will clean it.

You didn't say how you cleaned it but changing the filter shouldn't render it inoperative there is a reset button to reset the change filter timer but that shouldn't cause it to fail..Need more info.

If anyone is looking for the Kenmore Coffee Water Filter model 69768 - Sears / Kmart re-branded the filter under the Cuisinart name making them near impossible to find under the Kenmore name. Ok lift the lid and inside you will see a brew basket (it will have a hole in the bottem middle of it) If this unit has a mesh type filter basket you will not need paper filters! you put the coffee in the mesh basket the replace before brewing! if you do not have a mesh basket you will need a paper filter to put down in the coffee holder!(the one with the hole in the bottom!) add coffee and waeter and brew!
