Error Code I have a Miele Super Electronic W716 Washing Machine that periodically throws up an error symbol of two horizontal lines in the display window -- thus, and stops in the middle of a program. Have you any idea what this symbol means ? Is there a drum balance sensor that could be at fault or has become over sensitive ? It is reset by turning the machine off then on again however it doesn't continue where it left off but has to be started all over again. Thanks Chris

E3 is a generic 'Off Balance' code

If you receive an E3 Error code, your washer may be unbalanced. This could be caused by the washer being too tightly packed, or clothing not distributed evenly. This will usually occur during the spin cycle. Stop the spin cycle.

F8 is taking too long to fill. Check the filter screens on the rear hoses.

The F8 E1 or Lo FL error code means your washer is not detecting the correct amount of incoming water. If the washer has an F8 E1 error or LO FL error, the door may be locked, and the control may be unresponsive.

I think you press the pause/cancle button down to get rid of the error code at least temporarily.
