Hello desperate2le,

Watts delivered is a function of the voltage times the current. If the amp was 100 percent efficient, it would need 33 amps at 12V for 400 watts. At 14.4V, it would only need 28 amps. Of course, amplifiers are NOT 100 percent efficient, only about 50-60 percent in many cases, but somewhat higher for monoblocks, maybe 80-90 percent. So you're looking at a fuse in the 60-80A range. In the absense of a specific fuse size from the manufacturer, I'd start the primary fuse at a 60A and if the amp blows it on power up/immediately/frequently, move up to an 80A.

All of the Rockford-Fosgate 2-channel bridgeables I've ever seen show using the left positive (+) and the right negative (-) for bridging. But if it's not shown right on the amp, I'd call or email RF for the correct connection. The new amps do show it.

I have a set of rockford fosgate punch p162s woofer with a red and blue wire from the tweeter what is the diagram for this wire.

this is the owners instalation manual for the rockford punch P162S. If it is a single 12" the rule seems to be 1 cubic foot of airspace. Fill a smaller box with fiberfill
and it thinks it's bigger.

If you want to compensate for the volume taken up by the woofer, you can use the following approximations. Keep in mind that these are for 'normal' woofers. If you're using a competition woofer with a huge frame and magnet structure, refer to the manufacturer for the actual displacement volume of the woofer. Even if you're not using competition woofers, most high quality manufacturers provide this spec in the woofer's datasheet. 8 inch .03 ft3 10 inch .05 ft3 12 inch .07 ft3 15 inch .10 ft3 Also noting that a box that is 12" X 12"X18" should get you in the 1 cu ft range but you may need
to go 14X14X14 or 1.3 cu ft to be able to get the speaker into the box-clearance!
Dont use plywood! It flexes. Use MDF and use a silicone sealer like window or door seal
to make it air-tight. To get more audio out of a small amp, add a port however the calculation
of port size is a bit scarse.

I have an AR s112ps subwoofer. I woofer is blown and i would like to find a replacement woofer. I havent had any luck looking on the net so far. any ideas?

all you need is an 8 ohm subwoofer or a Dual Voice Coil (DVC) 4 ohm subwoofer wired in series that can handle 120 Watts rms. I Went with a Rockford Fosgate Punch P1 P1S812 12-Inch 150-Watt Subwoofer - 8 Ohm

it was only $35 from amazon and is probably nicer quality than the original driver. Good Luck

I have an sony xplod 4 channel 600 watt amp

First are they in the same box? If so and they are sharing the same air space running one amp to both is best andwill perform better. One woofer could be over powering the other and or you could have a woofer problem. A lso your wiring coul be problem. When amp is bridged it changes the OHM reading and output your other woofer may not be rated at or able to handle a lower Ohm rating also it coul blow that woofer if it hasn't already hapened . Be careful. check woofers independently for operation and check the non performing woofer on an unbridged power source or amp. Hope this helps. Write back if not.
