Please can you give suggestion?? It goes arund as if it is doing it's thing but still has same old water and soap. thank you for any help! Have a blessed day!
Thank you!!!! Thank you!!!! You are such a blessing!!! Yes there was something in the hose leading to the pump impeller clogging it $10.00 in pennies, nickles, dimes, and quarters. Who would have guessed! Then the impeller was still not working so my husband took it out and a hair barrett was lodged in it. Needless to say we are going to have to explain to the people living in our house to standards to washing laundry. #1 just empty all your change in our change jar to prevent the work of cleaning up all the water (the floor needed a good scrubbing anyway) #2 no more hair barretts!! We are so thankful for your fast response thank you!!! Can I ask one more question? My door pops open ever once in a while. Could it be that I'm using to sudsy of laundry soap or that my door latch is just warn out? If the later are they easy enough to change? Have a Wonderfully Blessed week! Great solution Catriver!
My problem: drum rotated during wash, but did not drain. Checked the trap. Found 15 coins, 2 nails, keychain, and a piece of wire. Cleaned it out. Fixed the problem.
My contribution: visually check for other problems, leaks, etc. I found a broken shock (strut, dampener).
Tip for GE front load: buy the Frigidaire parts (same parts without the GE markup). The Frigidaire struts sold by the pair, with extra pin, and installation instructions. The instructions can aid in removing the broken parts. Also, watch out for those sites that sell the struts individually for the price of 2 struts.
Chao!

Re:
Loakes, the first thing you want to check is the drain pump. Remove the lower panel and it will be on the right. If the pump is not working the washer of course will not drain and will not go into high spin speed. You will need to verify that first it is getting voltage and second there is nothing jammed in it. Get yourself a pan and a bunch of towels and remove the hoses to it. You will have a lot of water coming out at you. Check the pump impeller and see if something is caught in there. If you still have problems after doing this, some tests will have to be made to determine the problem...Catriver..post back.

This is one of 3 faults
1 you may have a problem with the heating cycle check
element
2 you might have a water valve not working
3 there may be a program fault
These videos on how to change an element and water valve will help
1) 1st check the filter under the machine (it unscrews behind the access panel 2) open front door and pull back the rubber membrane to see metal and clean out the debris blocking drain holes 3) remove the drain hose from the machine (spring clip) and try and run water thru it and keep blowing out the junk and re-attach 4) run the machine thru 2 cleaning cycles w/bleach and without bleach 5) start using less detergent
My Whirlpool Front Load Wasehr Model# GHW9250ML is having problems
spinning on the final rinse cycle. The machine shuts down and the letter
F appears on the digital read out.
DO YOU MEAN THE SPIN RINSE CYCLE OR FILL UP?THE FRONT COMES OFF FROM UNDER THE TOP SEAM,USE A PUTTY KNIFE ON EACH OF THE FRONT SIDES,PUSH IN ON THE CLIP AND PULL OUT ON THE FRONT PANEL,DO THIS ON BOTH FRONT SIDES,LET ME KNOW,THANKS-MIKE
Check latch mechanism for alignment. Often operation of machine loosens latch mechanism causing internal switch for "door open (or ajar)" preventing rinse or spin cycle. Opening and closing door presses latch mechanism closing internal switch allowing for continue processing to rinse or spin cycles.
