Hopefully the download is an .imi or .rmp file and the serial number is matched to your GPS. If so, just move the map to your SD card under the folder /MAP_DATA. Start your GPS and activate it.
The map has to be authorized by Magellan so make sure it is to your GPS serial number.
well as of the end of january bushnell will no longer let you download maps for any onix device...i think it is **** i just bought 4 of them 3 200cr and 1 400 and bought yhe unlimited downloads but now the company say's they will no longer be dealing with the onix maps....so as of now we are all just screwed...You can get a refund if you bought the unlimited maps but thats it........what we should do is we can all share the maps we do have i have about 400 downloaded and am willing to make a disk of them to give out in exchange for disk of maps of other areas i dont have...all i have is Pa and west Va. you can email me at [email protected] and just put onix maps in the subject line sorry i cant be more help but ive tried every site out there.
Hello. this company is out of business. There are no recent updates available. Consider replacing this GPS with a new one. I have a Garmin and I recommend it. It is excellent. Joe
dear first check ur internet settings in ur onix. if not plz configure it. but the fact is for access internet u need internet service provider. i think u can use internet from ur pc connected ur onix with pc. when ur pc is connected net then ur onix is also with connected net. then u can access from it. thanks
The RED X is a symbol when the maps you have do not match the serial number of the GPS you are trying to run them on. You have to use the Adventure Pack and create NEW MAPS with the present GPS attached.
