My ml 1250 refuses to feed paper. when 'printing' is required, there is just a screeching sound but no paper feed is executed. it doesn't even work with the single sheet feeder. there is a dark mark to be found at the bottom of the sheet afterwards. is there a spray or fluid that can fix that? I suppose that there is something wrong with the rubber of the intake machanism... tks!

sounds like your printer wants to form it's own three piece band(kidding here).
sounds like you rollers are dirty or have something on one or both of them..like tires on a slippery road, these need to be clean and dry.

SOURCE: Samsung ML 2010 won't paper feed
Lift up the front of the machine a couple of inches. I put a small bo under it. The paper then feeds slightly downhill.
Worked for me.

SOURCE: Printer paper feed wheel rubber band is broken
I had the exact sazme problem above and managed to successfully fix the probelm using an old mountain bike inner tube. I removed the cover to gain access to the paper feeder and removed it by first moving the white retaining clip on the right hand side towards the centre. Usign a flat headed screw driver I then freed this end from the black housing. Then, noting the orientation of the bar I then gently pulled it out of the gearing procket at the left hand side. This freed the bar from the printer. To get the required thickness of rubber I used four 2cm pieces cut from the inner tube and put them in place of the broken rubber. Re-assembled and worked first time and ever since. Hope this helps.

My ML-1250 has exactly the same problem. I'm going to try disassembling it and cleaning the feed roller to see if that may be the problem.
