Question about RCA Lyra RD1072 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Lost songs downloaded, now can't redownload

I am having a bit of a problem with my MP3 player. I just purchased it from Walmart, got it home and was able to download almost 50 songs, but then when I unhooked it all the songs were gone. Now when I try to redownload my Windows media that I used will n longer recognize that it is plugged in, even though the player says it is connected. I installed the Musicmatch jukebox but it will not recognize the plater as well. I took the battery out to reset it like the troubleshooting in the manual suggested but that did not work as well. Please help me if you can, really want to use my player!!! thank you, crystal :)

After having my ematic mp3 player plugged into my sons car stereo, it went blank after playing a couple of songs. I then reset it and charged it back up, because I thought it was that the battery was dead....

Never had that happen with my ematic mp3 player only had it about 6 months. Mine is the ematic 2GB Music/photo/video/voice mp3 player I purchased through walmart.com for $25 +TAX, no shipping since I did site-store which is what I do for all walmart.com purchases since packages i order seem to get lost after having left post office and being delivered to my house

I would also write your question on walmart.com under the exact item you have and maybe someone might have an answer there for it.

I know if you go under the item you have like electronic items, etc. at walmart.com they have an a question and answer area for the items just like this website. maybe give that a try.

Don't know of anything else to try sorry!

IPOD Shufle

Generally its difficult to recover songs from a Flash Drive (or ipod/mp3 player).  There is file recovery software available, and generally this will cost. So unless the songs were a bit rare and unique i would recommend that you see if you cant find the songs you lost on the INTERNET. If you already owned the songs, by downloading them you are NOT breaking copyright law. Only the person sharing the file is.

A good place to download songs is from Jamglue.com - (you have to create an account on there to download)

Not playing songs/ transferring to MP3 player on Rhapsody.

You probably have to redownload the songs again. Forget about the pictures, this player is pretty buggy, it's not worth it.

Sakar or iConcepts mp3 not working????

Walmart and many other sites sells songs that are DRM encrypted, meaning they are copy protected. Your MP3 player will not play these unless it is DRM 9 / 10 compatable. The purchase license permits you to download and play in the first device, when copied to another device the DRM prohibits playback in the second device.

Sansa e250 sync and rhapsody -- ugh

the Walmart songs should be usable, but the old Rhapsody songs will have to be reloaded, or your Rhapsody sub will have to be renewed.

Music downloads

Try download Bearshare or Limewire for free (they also have pro but it costs) and download the songs and sync them to a folder or your mp3 player.
