go to repairclinic.com and type in your model number. look for the drain pump and when you find it, the site shows you the manufactures pump part number
I'm not sure what you mean by "new dog ears".
Washing machines like the one pictured, generally have a transmission that is driven by the same motor that drives the pump, agitator and spin cycle. The motor has several windings for different speeds. There is a transmission that changes gears for the different motor functions. This is all controlled by the timer [big knob in your picture] and connected by a V belt.
First do a Google search for the model number and add "parts" to the search. You will get a few pictures of how the machine is built and what parts are available
I would suspect the timer first, the belt second and the transmission third. There are many on line parts suppliers once you have diagnosed the problem further. Whirlpool Washer Parts
Spares Suppliers
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make) washer spares' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can order. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number and, of course, the item ;-0)
Alternately you could try telephone directories for spares suppliers but I would think the former would be more successful.
Good luck,
John C.
May I suggest that you go on line, type in the make of your particular machine into your search engine. You should then be presented with sources of spare parts suppliers and possibly the manufacturers site. With a bit of luck one or all of them should give you the opportunity to type in your reference number and inform you how/where to obtain it.
Your heating element circuit has failed in the washer. We are Whirlpool authorized service and parts suppliers and can get the correct part out to you asap.
