Ceramic capacitor blew apart with a loud snap on the "G" power supply board of my Sony KV-27V26. Since there isn't much left of the capacitor, I'm not sure what rating of capacitor I need. It's the capacitor at position "C613" of a Sony G power supply board. Will just putting another capacitor on really help, or is it probably another problem that blew it in the first place? I've looked around and can't seem to find any sources that still stock Sony "G" power supply boards, any help telling me where I can find a new board, or which capacitor goes in the C613 location on the board is much appreciated; thanks in advance.
.01 mf 2000 volt. in flyback circuit .it is a timing capacitor. the red high voltage block is bad and that took out the capacitor. also check the horizontal output transistor...it is probably shorted.
