Hi ive only had this mp3 player for a month an today when i turned it on sound only comes out of 1 earphone. Ive tested it on other earphones an the same thing happens, i have also upgrade the software on it. I cant return it or send it back because original box has been thrown out. urgently need help.
Call Sandisk and tell them about your problem. I had the same exact problem. The headphone jack inside is loose. Talk to Sandisk and don't worry about the box, the customer is always right. But after they send you a new sansa e250, sell it on ebay and buy a durable mp3 player like the iriver t10 series. My old iriver dropped on the floor plenty of times and it's still working after 3 years.

I don't know if this will help delete what you don't want but plug the sandisk into your computer and open to view the contents. when you see the list of folders, at the top click on
tools--then
folder options--then
view
make sure "show hidden files and folders" is checked. click ok.
then if you can see the folder you want to delete, highlight it and press the delete key on your keyboard. (if you want to save it, copy it to your hard drive instead).
to put on a cd this may be a roundabout way but is fairly simple.
put the cd in the computer, using windows media player rip it and save songs in a folder on the hard drive. save as mp3 (or wma should work, too.) you can read on the net how to do this. once the songs are in the folder, close media play. go to the folder and the hard drive and copy it to the sandisk . you can see on your computer if it is there. unplug from the computer and hopefully you can find it and play the songs.
good luck!
Buy another- seriously. You can view this video if you want to try to replace the headphone jack, but you will probably cause more damage in the process: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgz8h8aHUDU
