Is there a way to fix my Logitech MX5000's keyboard display because it has stopped working today. I can type on the keyboard but the screen at the top doesn't display anything. It's blank like its off! I have tried everything from taking it apart to buying new batteries! and now i think I'm out of luck since I purchased it awhile back (about 2-3 years ago) so if there's a way to repair it please guide me!

As far as I remember, Logitech has 5 years warranty on this particular desktop set. Call the support in your country and ask! (or read on the box if you still got it, but you better put all the screws back in first :-)
PS: Did you check that the ribbon cable to the display was firmly inserted in the corrosponding scoket on the cuircuit board inside?. There is also a small clamp that slides and insuers connection.

all I get on the keyboard is a 0.
that's it. how do I get it working?
The keyboard works for a very short while before it becomes non-responsive. Also, the mouse starts to work eratically. when i click on something the whole page gets highlighted. I have a wirelss home internet network. I thought the modem interferance caused this problem. I repalced the modem with a new one but it is still doing the same thing. I even powered off the new modem to see it has any effect. The key board and mouse are still doing the same thing. So, the modem is not the culprit. Someone, please help!!!!!!!!!
