When using the dishwasher ther prgram cycle stops and the first 2 lights flash. I've checked the filter and outlet hoses and all seem fine. Cannot shift the flashing lights or get it to work.
Any ideas?
I have the same problem with the Indesit D1260. I have cleaned out the filter but not the pump as I am not sure where it is situated and how to clean it.I have the same problem with the Indesit D1260. Having read another users fault (LUNNY) that has same fault. They got engr out and it was a blocked pump. Where is the pupmp located on this model as I have the same fault and want to resolve it asap.

When you attempt to start a new cycle on your Indesit integrated dishwasher (model DIE2B19UK), the dishwasher beeps, and the lights begin to flash.
Various factors could be to blame for this problem.
A few troubleshooting tips are provided below:
Examine the door:
The dishwasher door should be securely closed and latched.
The dishwasher will only start if the door is properly shut.
Verify the water inlet:
Verify that the water inlet is turned on and that the inlet hose is free of glaring obstructions or kinks.
Check the filters: Check the filters in the dishwasher for any blockages or debris. Clean or replace the filters as necessary.
Check the pressure switch: The pressure switch is responsible for sensing the water level in the dishwasher. It could be malfunctioning, which is causing the dishwasher not to start.
Check the control board: The control board controls the dishwasher's functions. It could malfunction, causing the dishwasher not to start or displaying the error code. Contact the manufacturer: If none of the above solutions work, it may be necessary to contact the manufacturer for further assistance. They can provide more detailed troubleshooting steps or recommend a service professional to diagnose the problem.
The problem is lack of water. Check that the water is turned on at the stop **** and make sure that the hose hasn't been traped if the dishwasher has been pulled out from it resess as happened to mine.
Had a similar problem (flashing lights 1 and 2). Drained the machine by diconnecting the outlet hose and using a shallow bowl on the floor. Removed and cleaned filters. Forced clean water through by using a garden hose pipe(you can only do this one way, you cannot force water down the outlet pipe). Removed and cleaned the pump (you have to do this from under the machine but easy enough). Finally ensuring the waste trap under the sink was clear. Bingo!! No parts, no expensive engineer.
Switch off, turn off power, turn off water, disconnect water inlet hose, check for blockages, remove filters, clean filters, refit filters, check water supply, reconnect water supply, reconnect power, turn on - problem solved.
you may be in "flood mode". there may be a leak into the base. or your bottom base hoses may be blocked, best get someone in who is able to strip a d/w base out.
indesit idl 40 not pumping water out properly, ends with flashing light no 4 and plates dry but water still in machine -have to pump out using start stop button but within 2 hours base filled up with water. Can't afford massive call out prices as lady on my own.....
My dishwasher Indesit DI67S will not run on the number 1 cycle. It will fill and then when that programme finishes it jumps straight to the drying cycle missing all the rinses out etc. If on the number 2 programme it goes all the way through but then doesn't dry. I've also noticed that the water doesn't seem to be heating up much and certainly isn't drying. Is this the element or something else? Once its reached the drying cycle the light for this just flashes then I have a job to try and reset the machine. It can take endless attempts. Will switching the machine off at the mains solve anything or is it the element? Thankyou
i have similar problem machine starts then stops while bleeping the second and third lights then flash nothing more happens have checked water intake which is ok no blockages any more ideas would help thanks
