Question about Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 91TXM 21" CRT Monitor

Open Question

Mitsubishi diamond pro 917xm

The monitor has developed "ghost images" to the right of all images, words and lines, which make it difficult when using a CAD program for many hours. I have tried degaussing with out a positive result.

SOURCE: mitsubishi diamond pro says "no signal"?

You have tried the monitor on more than one known good computer, yes?

I believe about 4" inside this monitor in the back the vga cable or connector connects to a board with an in-line connector. Can you see if this connector (internal to the monitor) in connected?

Good luck...

WD 73835 has ghosting images during dark or red scenes

Make sure your contrast isn't set too high. Most ghosting is caused by either contrast, brightness or tint issues. Try adjusting these settings. Also check if there is a Dynamic contrast setting for your TV as well as this can cause ghosting also.

My screen develops some ghost images after powered up for a few hours. I can actually see some words that appear almost burnt into a screen. Similar to a monitor that has been left on too long if someone...

well you are correct and when it come's with the lcd monitors it is known that when a pixel is subjected to same amount of charge for a long time it might retain the residue of charge even after the amount is changed so this reason why you get this problem and in order tackle this just try to use some changing screen savers or just turn the monitor switch off while you are not around it.

good luck.

Mitsubishi NEC Diamond PRO 930SB Monitor - cover removal?

Remove the screws as you have done. Looking at the monitor front on you'll see 3 bits sticking down from the top (in the deatil gap) which are clips unclip them by pushing through the corresponding holes along the top. Also there's a clip at each side on the underside of the monitor which are very obvious. With the monitor facing down and everything unclipped just pull the cover upwards. It's not easy but work your way round the front edge and it will come.

Westinghouse LCM-22W2 has "ghosting"

Usually, LCD monitor ghosting appears when the cable isn't tight, the cable is faulty, or low quality. The cable should be less than 8-10 feet long. Try using a different monitor cable (they're mostly interchangable) and see if the problem goes away. I'd put my money on the cable or a loose cable connection.

Good Day, jhazelwd;
From what you say it sounds like the Convergence IC's have failed. Part number 267P150010, STK392-570, replace both IC's. They are on the middle board secured to a large heat sink.
Good Luck, big IRISH.
