My Chamberlin remote garage door opener stopped working.
As stated above, my remote opener stopped working. I replaced the battery and it still does not work. I tried reprogramming it, still no good. I bought a new remote opener and tried programming it and that does not work either. My Chamberlin opener unit has a blue "learn" button and no external dip switches. The original opener does not have accessible dip switches but the new one does. These are accessible through the cover for the battery. The opener is less than a year old. The opener unit does work from the manual pushbutton mounted inside my garage.

There is a battery in the remote. If the battery gets old the remote will stop working.Replace the battery and check. Also if your battery is new but still the problem is there then, try to open the garage door by keeping less distance between remote as well as the garage door. Also there is a sensor in the garage door.If that sensor is not functioning then this can be one issue. In some cases the internal remote circuit gets short,in that case the remote needs replacement. But does the garage door sensor light shows any sign of getting connection from remote when you press the remote button.Open the door and try to close the door with remote and check. As per the problem,in most cases its weak battery related problem, and replacing the battery solves the problem. You can try all the possibilities and see which one helps.Thanks.Helpmech.
Unplug the opener and remove the bulbs. Use a small screwdriver to pull out on the center contact in the socket. Make sure you are using standard bulbs.
You need to reprogram the keypad. Press and release the learn button on the back of the motor. Within 20 seconds, press your four digit code into the keypad and press and hold the enter button until the lightbulb on the motor blinks once. You are finished.
Replacing 315 with 390 OR 390 with 315? I had same problem which went away on its own. Did you buy any new electrical or electronic products just before problem started? I had this with a customer who had electrical interference from within house or a neighbor's satelite dish. You can try turning off breakers one at a time to isolate circuit causing problem .
Your keypad is not the same "generation" as your remotes. You operator will work with your security plus remotes or your old keypad but not both. Yor cheapest solution is to replace your keypad.
Both the older genie and a newer chamberlain (3-4 yrs old) both run on 390Mhz frequency. sounds like you will have to change your receivers on both operators (365LM 315Mhz) then get 3 button remote so you can program both doors on one remote.
remote wont work
have to reset
