When we load a movie in to watch this "HO7" comes up, there is nothing in our manual about this. Is there something I can do or is my 2002 shot craps? We have unplugged, turned off and even to a different TV.
After calling Panasonic, they suggested pressing the reverse skip (<<) button, the pause button and the open/close button all at the same time. The DVD player will then say "initialize." Turn off the player and unplug it for about 1-2 minutes. Plug it back in and turn on the player and load a disc. If the HO7 error code pops back up, you need to take it to a dealership for service. Or, at the price of DVD players these days, just get a new one - which is where I'm going right now.

H07 means problem with DVD spindle (turn the DVD) motor. Likely needs replacement. No idea on repair cost.

OTHER THAN SERVICING OR RUNNING OUT TO GET YET ANOTHER NEW ONE.... IS THERE A SIMPLE SOLUTION TO RESOLVE THIS??? i HAVE ALWAYS BOUGHT PANASONIC AND SO FAR THIS IS THE 2ND ONE IN 3 YEARS...ANY HELP HERE?
Also getting H07 on my Panasonic dvd model RV32. Tried unpluging it and restarting but can't shake that error code and dvd does not seem to spin up properly.
I just got the answer from Panasonic . Error H07 means there is a problem with the spindle motor in the unit which turns the DVD- so looks like a replacement of the motor is the answer. No price on repair yet.
