I got a tv from a neighbor when they moved, but it doesn't seem to work, all i see is that it's installing tv guide plus+ and it tells me to turn off the tv or press cancel to abort, but the cancel button doesn't work, niether does the channels, or menu, or enter, and i don't want tv guide plus+, what do i do!!!!!
The cancel button on the Base unit doesn't seem to work for this, you have to use the "Cancel" Button on the remote.
Once you hit "Cancel" on the remote, the scan should exit, and then the buttons on the base unit should work again (barring any other issues).
You should also be able to allow the scan to finish (takes a while especially if no signal on the channels), and when it's done it will exit.
Hope that helps.

I have found several of the vertical deflection caps to be off value as well as the vertical chip to be defective.First after pulling the chassis (mark plugs and sockets that have no id numbers with a mark a lot) look with magnifier around vertical and hi section for circuit board cracks that need resoldered.Hope this helps.

mitsubishi in california is only company you can buy this item from,,unless you can find someone that is junking a set,,I have purchased these before, and most likley they won't sell to you as they support dealers only, so give yourself a trade name if you happen to call them, and tell them you pay tax, this should work

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Many manufacturers put a software degause feature in the main menu. There should be an option for deguassing, I am not a hundred percent on this model but if you look in your operations manual it will tell you if this option is available. If not you can purchase a deguaser at a local electronics supplier. It is basically a round donut shaped electro magnet use caution and follow the instructions. Remember in the future to always keep external speakers away from your TV sets..
I was trying to hook up a converter box to my 65" Integrated HDTV widescreen Model #WS65613 to see if I could get better reception on it. I live out in the country and have to have satellite, so I wanted to see If it worked, it did not. Well in the process the screen is blue and cannot get a channel at all, the antennia says channel 3 and I cannot get my satellite to come back on DBS to hook my satellite back up, it's not the Dish or reciever because the other tv works. Please help?
