Hi, well i see these types of faults, all the time in my shop. usually it is the Open/Close motor that has failed, or the driver for the motor has failed, or the microprocessor controlling the driver has faulted, or indeed ALL of them have faulted. Other times it is a thing called the "Mode Switch" this too is a common culprit. In reality, there is NO home repair, this is a job for a professional.
What you need to do, is contact a local or head office, for the GoVideo, and ask them for a referral to an authorised service center. When at the service center, please ask for a 'Quote" before allowing any repair work to be undertaken. This way you can make an informed decision, as to repair or replace, as often these days depending on the actual problem of course many repairs end up being un-economic. Also often it is better to put any monies that were to be spent on repair, towards a NEW Modern unit with a FULL warranty.
