Question about Bose Wave music system Multi-CD Changer 3-Disc

Eer 2 message on bose 6 cd player on 2001 pathfinder

Can't play cd's just get eer 2 message. please help. Thanks

unit quit playing after some skipping and clicking noises. I got all the cd's out. I know Nissan and Infinity have had problems with this changer. They have been failing left and right. I tried the battery disconnect to reset it but that didn't work.

I just bought a 2001 Pathfinder with a Bose 6-CD palyer. It will not load a CD. All I get is an Err2 message. Iwould appreciate any suggestions.

You may need bose qualified serviceman to erase the error,you may need a software from bose.

check CD...most likely its the cd you are trying to play

Hello, I have a 6 cd changer that will not eject a cd. I have had no problems till now. I ejected a cd that had been playing to see what it was. I put it back in and it is trying to eject but will not....

There are 3 possible faults.

1) The CD has slipped and is jamming the tray.

2) The Tray Drive Belt is slipping or has snapped.

3) The Tray Drive Motor has Failed.

If you take the cover off you should be able to see which of the above is at fault.

1) & 2) are easy fixes but 3) could be more difficult depending on access to the motor and availability of a replacement.

If you require any further assistance once you've opened the unit then please ask for clarification.

basically all in dash changers go bad very easily.

Hi i have a mazda 6 with a bose 6 cd autochanger ,it seems to have jammed as it wont play or eject any cds,any advice would be great,thanks.

buy a new one on ebay UK ! £160, they all break/jam !!

Not an Audio CD/Format Unsupported

Clean the CD and try again. Also, if DVD displays "not supported", call Bose and ask to recieve an update disc. These updates are released every 6 months. Document your remote control settings before loading the update as they may be erased by the update and will require re-entering settings after the update.
