Question about Philips HDD1630 MP3 Player

1 Answer

"Ghost Songs" my friends were jamming to my Mp3 and then he says, " hey Andrew, what's with this thing man? i call him crazy and check. ALL of my songs were deleted, but they say that they are still there. if i look at ALL SONGS, it says, no list found, 256 times. when i chose to play the song, the whole thing freezes and i need to restart it. I hooked it up and deleted all of the songs on it. Then when i looked through it, it still said that 256 songs were on there, even though they don't exist. THEY ARE NOT TAKING UP ANY SPACE. and i'm afraid it's warranty is expired. i got it in January. Please, can somebody help me?

Try formatting it, that should fix, if its a hard drive player (by the title i think it is) then the hard drive might've gone bad, but you should still have a warentee, i think there one year

Coby MP3 player songs won't play

your headphone jackmight be bad or you might have an error in the basic programing and if so you might as well buy a new one.

Ipods and MP3 players also host virus, even if these cannot be infected directly, they CAN infect the PC you connect it to.
Plug in your player to a PC with a good antivirus and do a scan.

Also, check the battery, it might be worn out as well.

Sound isnt right

Seems like the songs u downloaded and put onto it were messed with. Try deleting them and then re-download them and see if that works

Problem it seems likes it crazy

Likely that the rocker switch for changing tracks is stuck. Try opening the case and seeing if the rear-half of that button is jammed.

Cant remove songs

Mine did the same thing. The hdd1630 seems to let some of the songs you don't want any more snake their way back into your playing list. You might want to try deleting all the songs off or it and re-syncing the player. This works for me about 98% of the time. Though, one or two ghost songs did pop up.. Any way, I hope this helps.
