Don't have a software to download music

Hello Nurock_nu107,

If you are trying to find music online to download, so that you can put them on your mp3 player then you can use company's such as Napster. I can not condone the use of Illegal music sites.

If you are wanting to put the music you already have onto the mp3 player sansa does not give out a special program to do so.

You can use windows media player or a program called winamp (google it if youd like) and you can open them, plug in your mp3 player and it will find the device. You can then drag and drop your music files onto the device as shown on the program.

Your second option is simply opening My Computer, plug in your mp3 player and when windows finds it a new drive will show up on your My Computer screen. This is your mp3 device. You can drag and drop your music files to this drive and it will transfer them to your mp3 player.

If you have any further question's or comment's feel free to post them and I will be of further assistance. Have a good day and thank you for choosing Fixya!

sEVERAL POSSIBILITIES:
* You downloaded protected music on your Windows 98/98SE, Windows 2000, Windows XP computer using Windows Media Player 9. Music was purchased online or the music was ripped form your own audio CD with Copyright Protection turned ON.
o You must use Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10 for online purchased songs.
o You must turn OFF Copy Protection on your Windows Media Player 9 before ripping your audio CDs into WMA files
* You downloaded protected music to your MP3 player using your Windows XP computer and Windows Media Player 10 with your player in USB mode. Music was downloaded from the internet, purchased or subscribed, or it was ripped from your own audio CD with Copyright protection turned ON.
o You have to use your MW3836 in MTP mode.

Downloading music onto the jazz dv 150 from my computer.

Try not running the Syn software at all. Try copying the files over manually.

After plugging in the USB cable you should get a small popup that says its connected.

Click on "My computer" and under "Devices with removable storage" you should see a new device called DV.

double click on that and you should see 3 folders. DCIM, EBOOK, and MP3

Copy your mp3 files from your computer into the mp3 folder of the camera and it should work.

Downloading music trouble

After you've downloaded the music files you want from Lime wire put them in your music folder on your computer ,then you need to sync your MP3 player through windows media player. plug in your mp3 player then open windows media player, on the top right there is tab says sync. click on refresh devices and your mp3 player should show up on the right window pane in windows media player. From there you can drag all your music onto it and press sync!
Hope this works

What i would recomend you to do is to go under device manager to see if the device is recognize...you can open your device manager by click on start, run and type devmgmt.msc...that will open your device manager...check under hard drive, portable devices or universal bus serial controller...once found the device right click on it and uninstall it..once you do that....unplug the device and plug it back into a 2.0 usb port..after that windows should recognize your device...

Cant transfer limewire music from my computer to my mp3

The Limewire music is located in your My Computer> C:>Documents & Settings Folder>Administrators Documents (your name)>Shared Folder. You can manually drag these files from this folder onto your device, located under My Computer>Device Name (there may or may not be a music folder, you should put it in there if there is). Once you drag & drop the files, you should safely disconnect your device, then you are done. Best of Luck.
