PLEXWRITER24/10/40A flashing light, stuck in pause I assume
For some time now, my 24/10/40A has had the light flashing, does not respond.
I tried Plex support and they basically said, buy a new one. It would seem to me there should be a "fix" but I have not found it as yet.
Throwing it out for advice if any is to be given.

most gas furneses have a red light on circuit board wich is located on intake. turn heater off then have someone turn it back on while you watch the circuit board. count the # of times the red light flashes before it pauses. it will flash in a cycle. for instance it flashe 3 times then pauses for 5 secounds then flashes 3 times again on and on. look on the back of the panel cover, their will be a diagram, in the diagram their will be dianostic report that will include what that # of flashing red light and what it means. for examle 3 flashing red lights ps stuck open. that means pressure switch stuck open. replace the part and your back up and running.
when the clean light flashes its displaying a fault code based on the number of times it flashes...if it flashes 7 times then pauses then flashes 7 times again its displaying error code#7 if 4 times then pause its code#4 ect.
try this. lock car door with key and hold key over for 30 secs then unlock the car with the remote holding button down for 30 secs.assuming the battery in the remote is okay...it should reset the alarm system.
Engine? Those flashes should be 2 digit numbers . Cycle key, on, off, on, off, on & leave on & recount those flashes. Example: 3 flashes, pause, then 3 more is code 33. Or 2 flashes, pause, 4 flashes, is code 24. 5 flashes, pause 5 more, is code 55 which means end of message. Then get back.
Please count the number of flashes of the Blue LED. It will flash Ex. 12 times and pause for 2 seconds and then flash 12 times again. The number of times it flashes will tell me more as to what the solution is. I am assuming the set works otherwise ?? What is the model number of the set ? Scott
