LeapPad stuck on Leap Frog screen.

Our LeapPad is stuck on Leap Frog screen. It wont even turn off without holding down the power button. Has it totally crashed? I tried to get on Connect, but it's not even recognizing the LeapPad now.

If the LeapPad does not complete the shutdown process and the white dot remains on the screen for more than ten seconds, complete the shut down by pressing and holding the power button on the LeapPad for ten seconds. i think the anti virus software is blocking the leappad connect software. go to antivirus settings, under firewall rules, select allow for leappad connect the launch it and try again.

Is there any way to delete players names

From the screen with the user names, hold down the home key and volume up key at the same time. This brings up the parental controls, where you can manage screen names.

Go to the home screen, hold the volume up and home button to access Parental settings screen. Select the screen calibration option and follow the on screen instructions.

All of these are worthless answer given by bots.

Hold down the volume down, home key and the right directional key.....wait till it shows the usb cable icon. connect to your pc with leappad connect software....tune and then select repair.

Cannot replace screen. Contact leap frog through the warranty. They have you deface the bad one and send a pic of it, then they mail you a brand new one
