Question about Wurlitzer Jukebox 1015 One More Time 100-Disc CD Changer

Number 8 flashes on display screen and disk changer is stuck

I have a new One More Time 100 Cd jukebox. I tried to program it to play with only 6 CD´s. It did not work and the machine could only be prompted to play manually. Now it is stuck placing and removing a disk over and over again while the number "8" flases on the display screen. Turning the machine on and off doesn´t seem to work as as soon as the power is on the disk changer continues its repetitive action. Please help!

The white plastic actuator is broken, if you look at the gearbox towards the back you can see a white micrswitch actuator attached to the rod the goes from the gearbox towards the gripper arm, it has a set screw on the top, it is probably loose because the plastic broke and is free from the rod goinf through the center, this is a common failure. I repair in the Dallas Ft Worth area of Texas.

Only plays one song at a time; not through entire cd

This is not a problem, the machine is supposed to play only one song at a time.....If you want to play the entire CD at a time, you must first program the machine for "Album Play" and then select the disc number followed by "00". Refer to your manual for instructions on programming album play. PS I sell manuals, [email protected]

A flashing 8 indicates that the gripper arm is not returning to the idle position. It could in fact be returning, but a switch is not operating properly. Feel free to email me for further troubleshooting help. [email protected].

Flashing 8 on display

A flashing 8 on the display indicates that the Selection and Credit Computer hasn't detected the gripper arm has returned to it's normal rest position over the CD carrier (where the CDs are stored). It can be caused by several factors:

1. Gripper motor switch has been turned off
2. K7 microswitch or actuator is defective
3. Blown fuse in amplifier
4. Defective gripper motor
5. Open latch solenoid coil
6. Defective Selection and Credit Computer

I am the authorized Wurlitzer Jukebox repair center for the US and would be happy to help you over the phone. I can supply parts and repair defective amplifiers and computers, etc. Please email me [email protected].

1015 Display Flashing #8!

Sounds like you may have a "timing" problem with the changer mechinism. Could be a worn gear or some broken teeth on some gear or some slack in the mesh between gears and it jumped a few teeth. That would explain the doubling up and out of sequence problem with the rack and it might be the problem with it not playing too.
