Everything comes on just no sound, the cd now says disk not finalized,am-fm light up but no sound. I tried the aux but still nothing. I did see a little spark around the tuner board and was wondering if this has something to do with it. Also can this be a blown fuse

SOURCE: Philips SAA7130 TV Tuner/FM Radio/Video PCI Capture Card problems

Have you checked the installation? - most PCI capture cards use the audio card of the PC for sound. A jumper cord is needed to come out the capture card and into the audio line-in jack. Green jack on the capture card is OUT, and the Blue jack on the sound card is Line IN.

SOURCE: Philips SJM3152 will not send signal to tuner from far

I don't have one of these, but I'm researching it for a gift...

The remote uses RF (radio frequency) only for the IPOD controls. For the other devices, it uses basic infrared. The RF works through walls - that's why you can control your IPOD from anywhere in the house. The infrared works like a flashlight - you have to point it at the device you are controlling.

Philips SHE9550 right earphone is louder

Your current solution to solve the difference in volume (the piece of paper) is not far from the problem.
Your problem is earwax. I have the same earphones and had the same trouble. I checked cable and plug but they were all fine. So then I checked for earwax. It didn't look like I had too much on the rubber plugs - removed that. The problem was what was on the nets. There was some visible, I tried my best to remove that with a sharp knife but the problem remained. I tried to remove some more and found that you can remove the nets easily with a sharp item - just pull them upwards.
There was quite some on the inside of the nets. I thoroughly scraped it all off with the same knife. There can very well be better ways to remove it but this worked perfectly for me.
When all was gone, I tried the earphones and was shocked at how much the volume had gone down in both ears (more in one) before the cleaning.
I hope this helps.

Can get mini hifi system to work with tv and dvd player. How do I connect them?

To be honest mini hifi`s arent the best to be using as speakers for your tv.
But you connect them using RCA phono cables.
Its a lead with a white and red connector on each end.
Lokk up RCA phono cable and you`ll understand what i mean.
You plug that into your tv then to hifi,
