Picture froze during DVD play for a few seconds then screen turned pink. Shut off DVD and powered back up. Unit display window shows constant Hello and drawer will not open to extract DVD. Can only turn unit off by unplugging. Power buttom does not turn it off. How do I get the DVD out? Malfuction occured on first DVD played in unit after purchase.
SOURCE: No sound from anything but FM
Disconnect whatever's connected to the blue wire behind the unit, and re-connect it to the blue/white wire instead.

I have a question. Everything is working perfectly except for there is no picture on the TV nor DVD. It was working fine until the other day when I messed around with some wires seeing if any of them were loose. Any suggestions?

SOURCE: power won't stay on, can't get dvd out
One of the motors in the mechanism died making a near short circuit. When the DVD tries to energize the motor, a lot of current passes through the circuits making the PSU protection to shut down the power supply to avoid damage or fire.
To get the movie out, you'll have to disassemble the DVD player and remove the disk. After that the DVD will be unusable because of the failing motor. The replacement often is more expensive than buying a new Chinese DVD player.

ok you have two possible problems one is the remote wire comeing from the brain is hooked up wrong use the second remote wire to the remote hook up for your amp the one you have hooked up is for the power antena if you had one thats why it works when you have the radio on.
ok now the second problem is with your zone cotrole sound like to be on try playing with your audio controls.
or at the very bottom of the screen is about 3or 4 buttons use those to change through the other options while the screen is up .
