AVH-P6500DVD On my pioneer my screen is not displaying any images or any of the touch screen but it shows an image when the unit folds down.

the screen do not display any images and if i pull it out still playing the music but i can't turn the volume up or down so i have to take the face off to make it work again

Theres a bad connection on the ribbon cable or its broken or cracked.. I hope you can find one with having to purchaqse a screen Good Luck

look for a small reset button behind face. or unplug the unit, wait 30 seconds and reconnect.

a simple reset should do the trick.

How to download pictures from camera to radio?

Using a CD or a flashdrive with jpegs loaded look for the image you want (should automatically play as slideshow).
If you do NOT see any images, you may have to press the MEDIA button on the screen.

! This unit can store only one image data.
Old image is overwitten with new one.

1 Touch >|| to pause the slideshow when the desired image is displayed.
2 Touch Capture.
Captureing the image is displayed.
3 When Do you save the image? is displayed,
touch Yes.
While storing the image to this unit, Saving
the image Don't switch off the battery. is
displayed. After stored completely, Image
saved is displayed.
# To cancel the strorage process, touch No.

very easy fix. you can pay thirty bucks on ebay and buy the bypass kit or make it yourself. but the light green wire on the harness has to be hooked up to ground. just hook the light green wire to the chassie of the car and you will be able to see dvds all the time. If you want to buy the kit its not really needed I have a toggle switch on mine just for turning it on and off when I am driving. simple as putting a wire from your chassie of the car(Ground) and then the other from the unit(light green wire) to a switch. hooking it up from Supply to Acc on the switch.
