A couple of options. First and cheapest, you could turn off the monitor. Second, for about thirty to fifty dollars, you can pick up an energy saving surge protector. With this, it has a main plug, and switched plugs. The switched plugs cut power when the main item is turned off. I.E. PC turned off, monitor, speakers, printer all turn off a moment later.

Either your Sansui TVs screen voltage has gone very low, or its brightness control section inside its chroma IC has damaged. To make sure which is faulty, you have to open your tv. There is an LOT [Line Output Transformer], which can be locted on the main board of your TV, from which three wires will go to the picture tube, out of which one will be connected directly to the picture tubes upper side, look like as it is sucked by a rubber ******. Usually this component is balck in colour and will have two adjustment controls integrated with it, marked as "screen and focus". After switch on your TV, just adjust the "Screen" control preset a little clockwise to see whether there is any advance in the bright ness of the picture. If the focus voltage is less or its wire connection to the picture tube base socket gets corroid; this type of fault may occur also. Check that also. If these does not help you, the chroma IC has damaged, and should be replaced with same type and number. OK.

You may need to enable the notebook VGA output. They can switch between notebook only, notebook + VGA or VGA only. You usually press the "fn" key and one of the Function keys at the same time. On my laptop, I press "Fn" and "F5". Please note that it can take some seconds for the switching to be completed so press them together once and then wait 10 seconds to see if it does what you want. (remember it may be something other than F5, look for a picture of a monitor or a square symbol).

The printer Board B1: you must shut it down by hitting the Options button and then selecting Function >Shut down > Shut down sytem>OK. Then power the machine off with the main switch. The Color Network Printer Board -B1 has a shut down function. It is for preventing corruption of the HDD. Be sure to turn off the main power switch after performing shutdown.
To properly shut down the Color Network Printer Board -B1:
1. Press the Option key on the control panel if the copier is in copier mode.
2. Make sure that the LCD reads Idle.
3. Select Functions on the LCD.
4. Select Shut Down from the Functions screen.
5. Select Shut Down System from the Shut Down screen.
6. The message 'It is now safe to power off the system' appears on the screen.
7. Power off the main power switch located on the lower right side of the copier.
* Note- After powering off the copier, wait at least five seconds before powering the copier back on.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
