This is the culmination of problems that I've had with my Sony SDM-HS73P. The first was that when ever I would power down the computer it was attatched to, the monitor would not immediately come back on. The power light would remain orange. We recently took it across country (I'm in the military and had to make a move from the west coast to the east) and when I plug it in now, it doesn't even show a light on the power button. I'm guessing that whatever powers the monitor is probably shot. Any way to check or is this just going to be a throw away monitor? It's sad because I've only had it a little over the span of the warrenty. But it's been a very tempermental monitor. I like the ultrabrites and I think it's time for a replacement, but I just don't know if I'll be able to afford it without getting the military to pay for the repair costs to buffer what it would cost to get a new monitor.
Buddy just check the power cable of the monitor... may be there is problem with the power cable try changing power cable...
and also after connecting with the old cable only just press the power button of the monitor may be it s turned off... try turning it on...
