Xbox does not read discs.

eject the game from the cd console if in the drive make sure your xbox is on warm it up take the disc if it is dirty run under warm water all over the silver side of the disc till dirt and debris gets completely removed after still holding the disc turn off the water and use scott SCOTT brand toilet paper the straight kind and use about four sheets to dry the disc or use a blow dryer, not preffered prefreably scot toilet paper after the disc is dry and warm very dry take your clean index finger and remove the rest of the debris off the disc and when the xbox says open tray let it say close tray close it see if it says read the disc if it says read the disc then it is not your laser or the laser needs to be blowed off with an air gun or compressed air. Get it to say close tray and itll close it self, wait ten seconds turn off the xbox turn it back on and go to my xbox mash play wait for it to read the disc. THE DISC WILL NOT WORK IF IT IS DIRTY I reccomend running it under warm water (let dry on both sides while still holding it properly) use a non scratch cloth to clean the disc preferablly scott toilet paper the smooth kind, after it is dry put the disc in the console if youve tried the disc try a brand new disc it might definately work after it says read if it says play the game then its the disc. If nothing happens like it dont say reading disc then your laser is cracked corrupted, or it has debris on it or is wett. Dont let your laser head get wet because i told you to run it under water make sure the disc is dry and completly free of scratches and smudges. WASH THE DISC WITHOUT SCRATCHING IT. Dont put a wet disc in your x box. Mash the hard drive button down and release mash reset to recycle the xbox green lights. Remove all the cords fromt the xbox wait two weeks or shorter, I waited a month or more before i played my game and it worked after I cleaned it twice one time and a month later i cleaned it without soap and used luke warm water.Remember Open tray, press buttom close tray closing automatically should say read reading reading disc then play if does not read the disc then its your laser.
