i am assuming that you want to do that to replace the agitator dogs? this vidoe will show ya how to remove the agitator and replace the dogs.......http://www.youtube.com/embed/0GQh8JLqVv8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>
agitator dogs are bad they are located under the agitator you will have to take a 3/8 nut driver and remove the center screw in the agitator to get to the pull up own the agitator and they are located inside of there.
first you remove the cap on top of the agitator then you remove the inner cap then you use a long extension with a 7/16 socket to remove the bolt the agitator will pull right up
Pop the fabric softner dispenser off the top of the agitator, pull the round plastic piece in the agitator out, the you will see a bolt through the center, remove the bolt and the agitator will slide out
Remove the frabic dispenser from the agitator. Reach in and grasp the small raised handles of the inside dome cover and pull it out. The bolt showing is a 7/16th size. You'll need to hold the fin of the agitator to unbolt it. No need to remove it completely, just unscrew it until it moves freely. Lift up the agitator. Reverse the process to re-assemble.
